The Arc of Erie County is an advocacy and resource center. We are affiliated with The Arc of PA and The Arc of the US. Our local chapter has been in existence since 1952, founded by Dr. Gertrude A. Barber and a group of concerned parents. Since its inception, The Arc has advocated tirelessly for children and adults with disabilities so they can live with dignity and achieve personal growth. Advocacy is indeed the heart of all we do.
